ARLO

Arlow is a 3-year-old registered intact male border collie dog. He is a big, long legged, big chested dog. Arlow is a strong head dog that has a lot of shut down power. He naturally wants to keep stock put together and balance off of the handler. We have used Arlow for any and all tasks that you can think of in a grow yard and on a ranch. He has been used to receive and handle fresh weaned calves all the way to gathering pairs. He has a strong bite that demands respect. He is a very user-friendly dog to use and handle. Arlo also comes with a huge personality. He loves people and lives to please his people. He loves to come in the house and have a cup of coffee, or he is plumb happy to go kennel up. He has a complete set of commands that he respects and listens to well. Arlo lives to go with you whether he is hanging out in the feed pickup feeding cows or going to make a big gather in rough country, he just wants to be with his people. He is kind and good with people or kids. We truly can't say enough great things about this male dog. If you are looking to make life easier around the ranch, or just looking for a friend Arlo is your dog. He comes from a strong pedigree of cow dogs and would make someone a great stud dog as well.
