About Donley, Chad
Donley Family Horses consists of Chad and Alaina Donley along with five little Donleys under the age of eleven years old. They live and breathe their faith, family, and horses.
Since Chad was a boy, he has always had a heart for horses. He started his first colt at the age of thirteen. He continued his passion by cowboying on big ranches, starting colts and making bridle horses.
His wife, Alaina loves being a wife and mother. She is the “behind the scenes” support to Chad and their business, along with homeschooling the children. Their days include time with Dad and the horses on a daily basis.
In 2023, they struck out on their own to build what is now Donley Family Horses. Alongside working his horses, Chad braids rawhide, dayworks for ranches, starts outside colts and shoes horses. The horses he sells are used in all aspects of ranch work, trail riding and his children’s antics.
The mission of Donley Family Horses is to share the gift of safe, solid, well-started horses with others. Chad puts his heart into each, and every horse he rides.
